Couldn't find any instructions for Kindle 11. Here are the steps necessary to get to the guts.
Included photos are of the device with water damage.

The front frame of the device is secured with black double-sided tape. To make its removal easier, it is recommended to heat the frame using a heat gun set to approximately 120°C. It is important to avoid excessive heating of the screen. Alternatively, a heating plate can also be used.

Start prying, from outside edge using Opening Pick from any of top corners.

After grabbing tob frame, move pick to be parrarel to the screen. Try not to go too deep.

There are no cables on top of the device.

Then moving to the bottom of the device - be careful as there are some ribbon connections and the digitizer for the touch screen can be reached with the pick. Try to make it as shallow and parallel as possible.

There are 8 screws - Torx T4. Remove them.

In the second image, you can see the exact position of the threaded inserts.

There are 6 plastic latches on the outer case. Using pick tool, unlatch them starting from top corner of the device. Use 3 picks and use Jimmy to gently pull inner frame from outer case.

Here is the back of the main frame. There is mainboard PCB and battery.

Batterie has been glued with easy removal adhesive. Connector for the battery is disconnecting by lifting it up (it is a pretty snug fit).

Mainboard is screwd with 4 Torx T5 screws and also glued to metal frame.

It had contact with sea water, so it needed to be cleaned. Fortunately, it has survived.
